Speech Therapist turned Social Entrepreneur, Development Worker, and Disability Activist.
Fahim works at the intersection of social development, disability research, and entrepreneurship in Bangladesh. Currently, he is working as a Deputy Manager at BRAC's Social Innovation Lab, co-founder of Connecting Disorders and Jotner Dokan. Aspiring towards a PhD in Disability Studies, his research interest lies in the social aspects of disability in Lower and Middle Income Countries — exploring how structural, cultural, and economic forces shape the lived experiences.

- Co-lead the evidence-based re-designing of Integrated Development Programme’s (IDP) graduation model – integrating a disability-inclusive lens, developed graduation indicators, survey questionnaires, scoring frameworks, implementation guidelines, and training manuals to strengthen institutional accountability and community participation. Operationalize a multi-phase investigative framework across 5 geographical zones (FGDs, KIIs, field observations) to assess service delivery gaps and sustainability parameters. The model is scheduled for a 3-year pilot across 160 local areas, reaching 31,000 households in the first phase, with national scale-up planned thereafter.
- Co-lead the design of a youth participatory research module for BRAC's Learning and Innovation Laboratory (LILA), positioning youth as key community stakeholders in a study on restructuring Village Development Organizations (VDOs) to enhance local responsiveness and collective action; piloted the module across six branches in Satkhira district.
